About Us

The Urbach Law Offices is a boutique law firm located in Los Angeles County, California dedicated to providing clients with cost effective and sophisticated litigation and dispute resolution services.  Our goal is to resolve disputes and achieve our clients’ goals in the most efficient and effective manner possible.  We are often able to resolve disputes without litigation.  But when litigation is required, the Urbach Law Offices brings over 20 years of complex commercial litigation experience to achieving our clients’ objectives.

Whether you are a corporation or an individual, have an established business or are just starting out, the Urbach Law Offices is dedicated to providing our clients with “big firm” commercial litigation experience and sophistication at small firm rates and personalized attention to client needs.  Our small size allows us to increase efficiencies and reduce overhead.  We have the freedom to offer our clients flexible and creative fee arrangements, including fixed fees, milestone payments, and both partial and full contingency.

The Firm’s founder, Matthew Urbach, has been representing clients in complex commercial and business disputes since 1997.  After obtaining his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego, Matthew graduated from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where he was a member of the Loyola Law Review.  Prior to opening the Urbach Law Offices, Matthew was a partner at the Los Angeles based national law firm, Manatt, Phelps & Phillips.  Matthew was named a “Rising Star” attorney by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2006, 2007 and 2008.  Matthew has represented corporations and individuals in a wide array of businesses and industries, including shopping center owners, residential and commercial property owners and managers, hospitability companies, banks, lenders, mortgage companies, real-estate developers and investors, transportation companies, energy companies, small business owners and government entities.  Matthew has represented clients through all phases of litigation, including mediation, arbitration, judicial reference and court and jury trials.
